8x4 Large Gazebo

Like all our tents, the 8x4 Mastertent is completely waterproof. While most other marquees apply a thin layer of polyurethane to an insubstantial roof, we guarantee lasting rainfall performance, starting with a strong marquee frame that can adequately support the roof, even in heavy rain.

In addition, a properly tensioned roof that fits the frame perfectly, with the right elevation of the tip allowing water to run down evenly and without pooling at the edges, even in strong winds. Use our anchoring straps for maximum efficiency.

Finally, we use premium-quality Oxford polyester and Pirontex®, which, even before waterproofing treatments, have a double-weave structure that prevents water from penetrating. We also take extra measures to seal the fabric seams.

Like all our tents, the 8x4m is foldable. The packing dimensions are also small, which makes it easy to store and transport.

We select only the best aluminium for our tents due to a number of important factors. Aluminium offers an exceptional balance between high strength and lightness, it is extremely resistant to corrosion and its performance value far outweighs the reasonable increase in cost compared to other metals. These characteristics make aluminium the most suitable material for a folding gazebo, especially when it comes to large sizes such as 8x4m where the strength-to-weight ratio is crucial. 

Coated steel is another popular option in the industry. Although it may seem similar at first glance, this cheaper alternative presents several problems once in action. Steel must be much thinner if it is to maintain an acceptable weight, which reduces strength and performance, causing the metal to break more easily. Steel is highly corrosive and rusts quickly as soon as paint is scratched or water penetrates the connections, and pipes and joints start to break and fall apart.

In order to properly secure an 8x4m gazebo to the ground, we recommend using at least a 28 kg weight per leg if the gazebo is only to be left open for a few hours in weather conditions that do not involve wind or rain and if the gazebo is set up without side walls. Otherwise, due to the large size, we recommend more stable and strong fixing methods such as concrete weights or safety straps with picks, if the type of ground allows them. Compare here all fastening systems.
