Add 1-4 Tent Awnings to Your Mastertent

Mastertent awning tents feature added awning extensions on the all-aluminum frame of your tent, providing more coverage without increasing the ground footprint. Customize your tent by choosing the number and placement of awnings.

Build your custom tent with awnings in our 3D Design Center! Our configurator will offer our most common awning arrangements, but if you are interested in a custom awning tent, contact our Product Experts.

Corner Flags

These lightweight, printed corner flags attach to the awning framework for added branding and impact.

Internal Awning Valances

Each awning roof can be outfitted with an interior valance panel, which is recommended for tents that will be paired with sidewalls.

Custom Awning Tents

Match your awning tent to your brand with full-scope customization. Outfit your awning tent with sidewalls and accessories or design with high-quality printing. Add a custom frame color for an added punch of color.

Extended Coverage, Same Footprint

Awnings extend from the roof valances, providing eaves that range from 32" (80cm) to 26" (65cm), depending on the selected configuration. Your tent's ground footprint will remain the same as the respective classic tent size.

Awnings can be designed in custom ways or for our smaller canopy tent sizes upon special request. Browse tent specifications by size in our awning data sheets.

How to Set Up a Tent with Awnings

Setting up your awning tent follows the same processes as setting up a regular Mastertent:

  1. Unpack your awning tent from its heavy-duty transport bag.
  2. Slightly open the tent frame so it is expanded to about 1/3rd its full size.
  3. Pull the tent fully open from the central tent trusses - lifting upward and pulling outward to extend the tent. The tent framework is designed to automatically expand with your movement. As the trusses extend, the awning eaves will also move into place.
  4. Lock each of the 4 tent corner brackets into the upper framework of the tent. Push up on the trusses at each corner of the tent until you hear the click of the framework locking into place.
  5. Secure the tent's internal valance with the integrated velcro panels.
  6. Extend the tent to its full height by unlocking and extending the telescoping legs.

Awning Tent Accessoires

Awning tents are compatible with all of our classic Mastertent accessories: sidewalls, counters, securing, lights, and more.

Most awning tents can be paired with our peak flags, which mount into the central mast of the tent - exceptions for models like the 4-awning 10x10ft tent, which uses a different frame structure.

Awning tents also have their own flag pairings with triangular corner flags attaching from the awning eave to the tent footplate.
