Fiesta Mexicana in the Skiing Area 3 Zinnen Dolomites
The Mexican ski championships with ski icon and jetsetter Prince Hubertus von Hohenlohe...
22 January 2020 - a special date for the skiing area 3 Zinnen Dolomites (I) and the 6x4 m sponsoring tent from Mastertent: Perfectly prepared slopes, bright blue skies and freezing temperatures...
Christian Pircher, representative of the hosting location of the Mexican Ski Championships, is at the venue very early in the morning. Matthias from the Mastertent team is also there to witness this highlight. Matthias and Christian warm up over a cup of coffee. Both are happy about the excellent weather conditions. Christian remarks: "Luckily there is bright sunshine today, otherwise just one gazebo would probably not have been sufficient. The gazebo is going to make a big impression at the award ceremony towards the end of the event. In the meantime, it will serve well as a shelter for the music groups."
Giving the Little ones a Try
At 10:00 am it finally starts. The Mexican ski championships around ski icon and jet setter Prince Hubertus von Hohenlohe are opened for the 3rd time. 112 racers from 27 nations will compete. "The most legendary thing about the prince are his weird racing suits", Christian Pircher explains. "With these Mexican Championships, however, von Hohenlohe not only wants to advertise his own business, but also set an example showing that even small nations have great ski athletes. The Mexican Championships are intended to offer them a chance to showcase their talent."
Von Hohenlohe himself has already competed in major events at several past occasions, therefore he also takes part in these championships of course.
Fiesta Mexicana at the Finish Line
With colourful sombreros on their heads and guitars in their hands, the Mariachi Band spreads Mexican flair at the finish line. To relax, they can take their breaks under the windproof gazebo by Mastertent. It is decorated with numerous tiny Mexican flags reflecting the Mexican motto. On the slopes, the colourful racing suits ensured Mexican vibes. "The enthusiasm of the public is probably the most exciting side-effect of the whole event", Christian notes visibly delighted.
At the end all eyes are once again on the Mastertent gazebo. The award ceremony takes place directly in front of it. Thunderous applause and Mexican music create a felicitous "Fiesta Mexicana" on the “Toblacher Trenker” slope in the 3 Zinnen Dolomites ski area.
Kinglike Organisation with Mastertent
At the end of the day Christian Pircher is happily waiting in the meanwhile empty finish area. His gaze is directed towards the slope while he buries his frozen hands deep in his jacket pockets. Satisfied, he tells us that "The 3 Zinnen Dolomites ski region has once again proven itself as a venue. Such a success would not have been possible without the entire team."
His eyes drift back towards the finish line and are caught by Mastertent's gazebo ... "Of course this success is also attributable to you, the numerous sponsors", he praises Matthias. "The gazebo has successfully performed its frame function for the entire event: During the race the musicians resided below it, afterwards medals and Mexican prizes were exhibited underneath."
As we were heading towards the exit, Christian Pircher continued: "Your professionality was amazing... The delivery, the fast assembly and the competent organisation were just outstanding". And he laughingly adds: "Just right for the kingly blood."
